Our services include evaluation for women's hormone care (estradiol, progesterone, and low-dose testosterone where clinically appropriate), compounded GLP-1 weight care (semaglutide and tirzepatide), and peptide and wellness services when clinically appropriate. 1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors and patients in the United States who use our website or services. Our services are intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Clinicians who evaluate or treat you may practice through affiliated or contracted professional entities. Where those entities are separate covered entities or business associates under HIPAA, they may maintain their own notices of privacy practices for protected health information (PHI). This website policy describes Dominia's practices for information we control in connection with the site and care coordination platform.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Identity and contact data: name, email, phone number, shipping/billing address, date of birth, and account credentials.
- Health and clinical data: medical history, symptoms, medications, allergies, goals, photos or measurements you upload, telehealth visit notes, prescriptions or treatment plans, and messages with care teams.
- Lab and diagnostic data: results from laboratory testing you authorize (e.g., hormone levels, metabolic panels, lipids, A1C, and other ordered markers), including results received from lab partners.
- Payment and benefits data: payment card details processed by our payment processor; if you use HSA/FSA cards or request receipts, related transaction metadata (we do not store full card numbers on our servers when a PCI-compliant processor is used).
- Support communications: emails, chat, or form submissions to customer support, including through the contact form at https://dominiahealth.com/en/contact.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location (city/region), and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies, preference cookies, analytics cookies, and advertising/measurement pixels where used. See Section 6.
2.3 Information from third parties
- Laboratory partners and fulfillment/pharmacy partners (compounding or dispensing pharmacies).
- Identity or eligibility verification vendors, when used.
- Payment processors and fraud-prevention tools.
- Analytics and marketing platforms (subject to your cookie preferences and applicable law).
3. How we use information
We use personal and health information to:
- Provide telehealth evaluation, ongoing clinical care, prescriptions when appropriate, and care coordination.
- Order, receive, and interpret lab results and monitor treatment safety and effectiveness.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and support HSA/FSA documentation where applicable.
- Communicate about appointments, shipping, refills, lab reminders, and service updates.
- Improve our website, protocols, and patient experience (including aggregated, de-identified analytics).
- Detect fraud, secure accounts, and comply with law, regulators, and professional standards.
- Respond to privacy requests and legal process.
We do not sell your PHI for money. We do not use your identifiable health information for unrelated third-party marketing without an appropriate authorization where required.
4. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Clinicians and care team members involved in your evaluation and treatment.
- Laboratories that perform testing you authorize.
- Pharmacies and compounding pharmacies that dispense medications prescribed for you.
- Service providers (hosting, security, customer support tools, payment processing, shipping logistics, analytics) under contracts that limit use of your data.
- Professional advisors and insurers as needed for operations, claims, or risk management.
- Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or security.
- Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to continued privacy protections.
We require vendors that handle PHI to agree to appropriate confidentiality and, where HIPAA applies, business associate terms.
5. Health data and telehealth specifics
Telehealth involves collection of sensitive health information. We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access controls, encryption in transit where supported, and staff training.
Lab results and medication history are used for clinical decision-making and monitoring (for example, hormone levels, metabolic markers, and safety labs). You are responsible for providing accurate information and completing recommended follow-up labs.
Emergency care: Our services are not for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not rely on email or the patient portal for urgent symptoms.
6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you signed in and remember preferences.
- Understand site performance and traffic (analytics).
- Measure marketing effectiveness (where enabled).
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, our cookie banner or preference center. Blocking some cookies may limit site features. Third-party tools may set their own cookies subject to their policies.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. Those processors receive the information needed to complete the transaction and are responsible for securing payment credentials under applicable payment-card standards. We may retain transaction records (amount, date, last four digits, status) for accounting, refunds, and dispute resolution.
8. Retention
We retain account, clinical, lab, and transaction records for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal and professional recordkeeping requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods for clinical records often extend several years after your last encounter, depending on state law and clinician requirements. When retention is no longer required, we delete or de-identify information in accordance with our practices.
9. Security
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We take reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Please use a strong unique password and notify us promptly of any suspected account compromise through the contact form (or your support channel).
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on your state of residence and whether HIPAA or state consumer privacy laws apply, you may have rights to:
- Access or obtain a copy of certain personal information or PHI.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion, subject to legal and clinical retention exceptions.
- Opt out of certain sharing for targeted advertising or "sale"/"sharing" as defined by state law (if applicable).
- Appeal a denied privacy request where state law provides an appeal.
How to exercise rights: Submit your request through the contact form, or by mail to the address below, with enough detail to verify your identity and locate your records. We may need to confirm identity before fulfilling requests. Some requests may be limited by law (for example, we may retain records required for treatment, payment, operations, or legal compliance).
Marketing emails: You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in those messages. You may still receive transactional or care-related messages.
11. State privacy notices (summary)
Residents of certain states (including, where applicable, California and other comprehensive privacy-law states) may have additional rights regarding personal information collected online. Health information created in a clinical context may be governed primarily by HIPAA and state medical privacy rules rather than general consumer privacy "sale" frameworks. Residents of certain states may have additional privacy rights. To make a request, contact us at the mailing address above or through the contact form, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
12. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party websites or labs/pharmacy portals. Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before providing information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we post revisions. Material changes may be communicated by email or a site notice when appropriate. Continued use of the services after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
